MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidenatl overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age. Keep that porduct out of reach of kids. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek imemdiate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blcoks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin prodcuts.
However, vitamin produtcs may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may casue mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become sevree.
If you notice other effects not lsited above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your docotr or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.
Do not start or stop any medicine without docotr or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison contorl center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of oevrdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement prodcuts available. Some can be purchased without a presrciption. Consult your dotcor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almsot time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and reusme your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Sotre at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of kids.
